What makes you MV proud? I really enjoy the culture amongst staff at Mount Vernon, as well as its community members. Everyone has been so supportive and welcoming, and it has been fun getting to know the families within the district. Everyone within our community is doing the best they can to ensure the students and their families in our district have access to great opportunities and experiences!
What was your first job?
I worked at The Bluffs in Vermillion, picking range balls during my high school golf season and through the summer. I also detasseled corn for my family’s seed corn company every summer!
What are you reading right now?
I am reading “Daisy Jones & the Six,” a historical fiction novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, written as an oral history.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to learn how to play guitar proficiently. I used to take lessons while in high school, but only ever learned the basics. Hopefully, it is something I can make time for in the future
