I grew up in White SD and graduated from Deubrook High School
I live with my husband Chad, two dogs (Blonde and Mary), and Bearded Dragon (Henry). I have three grown children (Cassy, Ben, and Dustin). I have one granddaughter (Addie).
Education: I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from South Dakota State University
What makes you MV proud? I am so proud of how much kindness there is in our school. The teachers and students are kind and caring.
Teacher who inspired me?
My middle school English teacher was very inspirational to me. She was Kind and always made you feel important. I always try to remember how special she made me feel. I want to be able to have the same influence on our students.
You might not know this about me …
I love being in nature. I like hiking, rock climbing, and kayaking. I love to sit and listen to the wind in the trees and watch the clouds float by.
If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life what would it be?
My favorite food is sauerkraut. We ate it at my grandmother's house every Sunday when I was a child. We would have it with pork chops and mashed potatoes.
