State GBB Shirts are in. You can pick them up at the school starting Wednesday morning. Plankinton shirts have been sent over to the Plankinton school. There were a few that were marked ship to home - double check that before calling. If you would like them sent home with your child please let your child know.

Congratulations to the MVP TItans Girls Basketball team on making the state tournament! To allow our fans to attend the games, there will be no school in Mount Vernon on Thursday, March 13th. Friday, March 14 is already a scheduled no-school day. Elementary parent-teacher conferences scheduled for Thursday, March 13th have been rescheduled to Thursday, March 27th 4 pm to 8:30 pm.

Due to no school, the 1st round of region boys basketball has been moved to Friday, March 7th at 7 pm. The boys will host Scotland-Menno in Plankinton. The winner will advance to play Hanson in Alexandria on Saturday with a 3 pm tip off.
Due to pending winter weather, there will be no school today, Tuesday, March 4th.
1st grader have been working on learning our addresses! Today we addressed a letter to ourselves, walked down to the post office and mailed them off! Hopefully they all make it!
Important deadlines for Prom and After Prom:
Deadline to sign up for prom banquet, prom and after prom is March 19, 2025. Sign up sheets for the banquet and prom are outside the art room. After prom sign up - students check your email for the forms that need to be filled out - along with what needs to be turned in. Please make sure you have this completed so they can get a count.
