Geometry students concluded their project proposals today by giving presentations to adults from the school and community. The project required students to brainstorm ways to utilize open lots around town. A public park, workshop, coffee house, pool, and drive-in theater were the ideas they explored. They created layouts for their projects and itemizations to account for all costs.
A special thank you to Mr. Dave Anderson for helping students explore their ideas and assist with the financials. Also thanks to Mr. Schumacher, Mrs. Sandland, SRO Van Horn, Mr. Jeff Miiller, and Mr. Roger Dekok for listening to their presentations and providing feedback.

National Honor Society members are encouraged to be involved in the school and community. Today, a few members (Ethan, Haley, Marley) spent time at the senior citizen center interacting with some members of the community and learning how to play pinochle.
We are excited for this new way to create relationships between the school and community.

The Senior Class of 2026 will be having the annual Veterans Day program on Tuesday November 11th at 8:30 AM in the community center. The community is welcome to attend as are any and all veterans.

Please note the following important reminders for all spectators:
*No passes will be accepted during regional or playoff competitions, unless provided by the SDHSAA.
*Signs, banners, and noise makers are strictly prohibited during these events.
Additionally, volleyball regional play will begin on November 4th.
