Tuesday October 24th Volleyball Game at Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will be their Dig Pink Night. There will be a bake sale, silent auction and pink hair extensions. Two of our Mount Vernon students are performing in the Mitchell High School musical! Performances tonight at seven pm and tomorrow at 2 and 7 at the performing arts center in Mitchell! So proud of them ❤️

Due to some maintenance work at the Plankinton gym, we had to adjust our 5/6 practice schedule for Friday. The 5/6 boys will practice at 4:00 at the MV Old Gym. The 5/6 Girls will practice at 4:00 at the TYCC.
Congratulations to our October Donuts with the Principal students. They were selected by their teachers because they showed good behavior and were role models throughout the past month. Keep up the good work!
Kindergarteners are working on our number sense, including representing, counting, and writing our numbers! Before we know it, we will make it all the way to 100!
The 2nd & 3rd grade classes were invited to the Mt. Vernon Fire Station to learn about fire safety. We had a great time and learned a lot. Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Kluth!

In the Title Math room the preschool students were learning numbers on the dice and number identification by playing a game of pumpkin bump.
Mr. Schaffer's senior class sang the preamble song to the 4th grade class and the 4th graders recited to preamble. It was a great collaboration!
