*Senior Project Announcement*
Hello, my name is Tessa Pickart and I am currently a senior at Mount Vernon High School. For my senior project, I will be putting on a 13-mile run/bike/walk for the 13 men and women who died in Afghanistan in August of 2021. There will be a $25 fee and each runner will receive a t-shirt at the beginning of the run, which will start at the Mount Vernon School parking lot on October 30th at 7:00 a.m. Keep in mind that runners are not required to run 13 miles but can decide how far into the route they choose to go. Wear patriotic clothing and bring a good attitude! Donations will be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, and if you are interested in participating or donating, send me a message by October 4th. The JH and JV football games versus TDAACDC tonight are postponed. The JV game will be played next week in MV. We are hoping to move the JH game to the 27th, but waiting on some details yet.

Just a reminder that next week September 13-18 is MVP Homecoming. This year's theme is "Seasons". We have several fun activities and dress up days planned for what should be an entertaining week of volleyball, cross country and football. Check the school website for a schedule of daily activities.

1. Our activity bus has a DVD player with 6 monitors. Anyone have some old movies/tv shows that they would like to donate?
2. Looking for a traditional hay rack for the homecoming parade.
