Congratulations to all my students that were involved in State Art this year. We won State Championship for Class B.
The third grade students spent 3 days on state testing. Now we are using our creativity to turn our names into symmetrical creatures.
3/4/5th graders are filling eggs for Bella's Easter Egg Hunt in between testing and in their free time. If you can please send plastic eggs and/or candy to the school for them to use. NO chocolate candy please.
Softball opener tonight in Plankinton! We are hosting the Baltic Bulldogs at 4pm. We will also host the Parker Pheasants tomorrow (April 11th) at 4:30pm. Both games will have the JV following the Varsity game. Come out and cheer on the Titans!
Summer baseball/softball sign up information is being sent home with K-5 students today. If your middle schooler/high schooler is interested in playing baseball/softball there are forms in the office - please have them stop in and grab one. Teeners baseball is now 17 and under. If you have any questions please reach out to one of the MV Baseball/Softball association board members.
MV After Prom has been rescheduled for Monday April 21st- bus leaves MV at 5 pm. Please have your child confirm their attendance - along with their prom dates. All students have received an email with specifics for that day. Please check with them if you have questions.

The MV vocal jazz and jazz band performed at the SDSU Optimist Jazz festival today! These kids played and sang wonderfully- so proud of their hard work ❤️

Pre-K students finished up their unit on Farms as well as Living vs Non-living things. Sarah & Thomas Bode were so kind to bring a couple of their bottle goats to show students and answer any questions they had. It was the perfect afternoon to enjoy nature and be with the goats!
Yesterday, Pre-k compared living and non-living things between a gummy worm and a real life nightcrawler! Students were allowed to use their sense to describe some similarities and some differences. Then, we released the words back outside! Mrs. Smith had a fresh bag of gummy worms to share when we were finished & washed hands!
