Congratulations to Celina Trisco, Taryn Hegg, Riley Mayer, Haylee Neuheisel, Camden Stahl, and AuBree Tollefson for their acceptance into the National Honor Society!
They will be officially inducted on Thursday, May 9th at 1:00 during the Academic Awards Ceremony. Make plans to come support the NHS members and the other student scholars!
This Friday is the K-8 Field Day. If it rains, the make-up day is Monday, May 13th.
Some weather-related activity announcements:
1. The JH track meet in Parkston has been rescheduled for May 13 with a 4:30 start.
2. We have moved the start time of the varsity softball game today in Parkston from 4:30 to 3:00. We have cancelled the JV game.
Kindergarten Students went on a Virtual Field Trip with the South Dakota Art Museum. We learned all about print making and made some of our own.
The Titans are in Sioux Falls today and tomorrow for track! Tune in or come out and support the Titans.
The Pre K-5 concert will be streamed on Facebook at 7pm.

Come to the Tiny Titans 2nd Annual Invite on May 8th. Field events will start at 5:45(immediately following Title night in the MV school). This event will be available to MVP students as well as surrounding towns. See you all there!
The 5th graders are practicing making obtuse, acute, right, isosceles, scalene, equilateral and regular polygons on GeoBoards.
We had a wonderful field trip to the Akta Lakota Museum and the Dignity Statue in Chamberlain.
The Lennox track meet that was scheduled for tomorrow (4/30) has been postponed. We are working on an alternative date.

The season of music concerts is fast approaching! The prek-5 spring concert is May 2nd at 7pm at the TYCC, and the 6-12 spring concert is May 9th at 7pm at the TYCC! Hope to see you there!
Our service day is Friday, May 3. We are looking for projects in and around the community. We have a strong labor force with a multitude of talents and elbow grease. If you personally need something or see something around town that we can help with, please let us know!

USD is offering summer camps tailored specifically for high school students interested in business and/or healthcare leadership. The camps are July 7-11, 2024 and cost $100. Students stay on campus at USD and can earn 1 college credit. Here is the link for more info and to register.

The 4th and 5th graders visited the Dakota Discovery Museum, National Guard Armory and Corn Palace. Their favorite parts were sampling MRE meals our soldiers eat in the field, the murals and the artifacts at the museum! Thank you Sgt. Steinle and Troy Magnuson for the tours!
