After working hard in math, the second graders got to do some cardio desk drumming.
Reminder: Thursday 12/5/2024 is the Elementary Winter Concert. Please have your child use the restroom prior to being at their classrooms at 6:45 pm. Parents keep your child's coat as they will not return to the classroom after.
Friday 12/6/2024 is the Middle School/High School Winter Concert.
Both concerts are at 7 pm.
Preparing for Thanksgiving Day parade. 2nd and 3rd grade joined Pre- K. We visited the elementary, middle school, and high school.
Next Wednesday MVHS will be hosting the "Build Dakota Scholarship Roadshow." This event will explain what the Build Dakota Scholarship is and how local businesses can invest in our youth to help build their workforce with qualified employees. See the poster for times and more information.
Volleyball workouts (Reagan Rus senior project) will be held Sunday 12/1/2024 from 3:00 - 4:30 pm in Mount Vernon.

Kindergarten students and their parents/guardians made Turkeys in Disguise. Students were also asked how to make a turkey. Hopefully all of your Thanksgiving dinners turn out right.
Congrats to Mr. Olson on being recognized as the 11B Football Coach of the Year! This award is voted on by his peers and is well deserved. The Titans had an incredible run this year and competed against the best of the best. Great job Coach!

Yesterday was Region oral interp competition, as well as JH festival choir/band. These students represented MV proudly- very happy with their dedication to the fine arts!
The Volleyball team and coaches are off to Sioux Falls and the volleyball shirts are in the office ready to be picked up! There will be someone at the school until about 4 pm today. Good Luck Lady Titans!!
