The 2nd & 3rd grade classes were invited to the Mt. Vernon Fire Station to learn about fire safety. We had a great time and learned a lot. Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Kluth!

In the Title Math room the preschool students were learning numbers on the dice and number identification by playing a game of pumpkin bump.
Mr. Schaffer's senior class sang the preamble song to the 4th grade class and the 4th graders recited to preamble. It was a great collaboration!

The Plankinton Service Club is hosting a Frightened on First, a Haunted House on October 20th, 21, 27th & 28th from 7-9pm. Cost is $10. Address is 405 E 1st St. Plankinton (2 blocks north of the Plankinton school). A waiver will have to be signed by everyone who enters. Everyone under the age of 18 must have a parents signature on the waiver. Waivers are in the office.

In Monday's board meetings, both the Mount Vernon and Plankinton boards voted to add HS softball as a sport for our girls this spring. This means we are looking for coaches!
