The Mount Vernon School District is looking to hire for a part-time position. The position would be for about 6 hours per week - 1:30-3:30 on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursday. Please contact the school if interested!

The juniors and seniors attended Post-High Planning days in Mitchell this morning. They visited post-secondary booths at DWU then went to the Davison County Fairgrounds for the Career Expo. There they learned about careers needed in our area from over 45 businesses and industry.
With many students gone to the Career/College Fair, the remaining Algebra 2 students used some class time to help check oil levels in school vehicles.
October 4th is Walk to School Day. If you don't live close enough to do this, try to fit some extra walking into your day.

JH Football parents - There are order forms in the office for the JH Football pictures that will be taken this week. You can order online or have your child stop in the office if you prefer paper.
