In Monday's board meetings, both the Mount Vernon and Plankinton boards voted to add HS softball as a sport for our girls this spring. This means we are looking for coaches! If you have any interest in coaching softball this spring, please contact Eric Denning in Mount Vernon or Zach Harter in Plankinton.

Pre-K has been learning about different types of patterns. Our focus yesterday was Movement Patterns. Students were paired and had to create their own movement pattern using three different movements, then demonstrated to the class! Once they demonstrated their movement pattern, we all tried it out! The students loved moving to the patterns!

Dear Patrons, Recently, we have had some intentional damage done to our facilities, in particular, the Downtown Auditorium. Someone has thrown rocks through the windows (twice recently), and then gone inside and created more destruction. As a school, we feel the relationship between our school and community is essential and we love the fact that we can allow our community members to access our gyms, exercise equipment, and weight room. However, actions like this put this freedom in peril. If we continue to have people intentionally do damage, we will have to tighten things up, which could lead to restricted access. WE DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT! Please help us keep a watchful eye on our facilities and if you are in them and see something that is amiss, please let us know. We would love to get information about who is doing this destruction so we can address it. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Eric Denning
